The KZ2 European Championship comes to an end with this weekend’s appointment at the Genk (BEL) circuit.
Leonardo Marseglia arrives in Belgium with the best of intentions, especially considering the great weekend completed in Adria during the first round of the Championship. The Birel Art driver had broken the ice with the second time for group B, an excellent starting position carried out in the heats on Saturday, which ended with two thirds, a second and a fifth place, valid for the fifth starting position. In the Final race, Marseglia then expressed a good race pace closing in seventh overall position.
On the tortuous Home of Champions circuit in Genk, Leonardo Marseglia will therefore try to repeat the excellent performance thanks also to the now good level of feeling achieved with the Birel Art material during the season.
Appointment tomorrow with the official qualifications starting at 4.35 pm, category heats scheduled for Saturday 5 September, KZ2 final at 1.50 pm on Sunday 6 September.
