Oleksandr Legenkyi completed a useful and competitive weekend at Cremona, good to prepare for this week’s Italian ACI Karting Championship.
The last round of the WSK Euro Series was more than worth it for the Ukrainian driver of the Team Driver team. A positive weekend in Cremona despite the high temperatures and the great battles on the track.
Alex was competitive right from the start, closing his qualifying session with the fifth overall time in OKN-J and third in his own session. A certainly solid start also confirmed in the three heats available as usual. A fifth place to start and then a victory in a comeback of two positions and a third place, a useful path to stay in the battle for victory.
Sunday at Cremona did not entirely smile on Legenkyi who, in the pre-final, had still proved to be one of the best on the track with another second place. In the OKN-J Final, the great battles at the top of the classification and a race contact in the last laps forced Alex to P6, which then became P11 due to a post-race penalty. Fifth place overall in the overall classification of the WSK Euro Series 2025.
In any case, a positive and competitive weekend which will obviously be useful for the next appointment in a few days time, again at Cremona but for the Italian ACI Karting Championship, where the Ukrainian driver is currently leader of the OKN-J general classification.
