Third round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship filed by Oleksandr Legenkyi, still firmly at the top of the OKN-J general classification.
High temperatures and battles on the track accompanied the drivers during the weekend at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno.
Alex started as always with the aim of bringing home the maximum result from the very first moment. After the fifth time in his qualifying session, tenth overall, the heats began.
Important direct confrontations that Legenkyi tackled intelligently without making mistakes and maximising the result. P7 in the first heat and P4 in the second with three positions improved. A pace that Alex also maintained in the Pre-final, obtaining second position with another two improved positions.
The OKN-J Final was as close as ever with Alex always fighting for the podium from start to finish. Unfortunately, a yellow flag regime put an end to the race when he was fighting for third place, finishing in P4 anyway and still leading the overall OKN-J class standings.
Alex thanks all his team, his mechanic, all sponsors and of course his family for their support. Next appointment with the Italian Championship from 11 to 13 July at the Cremona circuit.
