Oleksandr Legenkyi also sent the penultimate round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship into the archives with a competitive weekend at Cremona.
The Ukrainian driver concluded a weekend not easy to interpret but absolutely competitive and in full fight for the Championship title.
Eighth time overall in qualifying, third time in his own session. This was the starting point for the Cremona heats, a program divided in half with the last heat moved to Sunday. Series of heats closed in P5 for Alex with an excellent progression consisting of three third positions and a fourth place. A solid run held and confirmed also in the pre-final thanks to a fourth place overall.
The OKN-J final did not have the result hoped for by the Ukrainian driver, but in any case a positive one with sixth place overall under the chequered flag, due to the numerous battles for the top positions.
A result that certainly confirms the competitiveness demonstrated throughout the season but which forces Oleksandr Legenkyi to bet everything on the last round at Franciacorta (19-21 September) and recover the 27 points that currently separate him from the first position in the general standings.
