The Team Driver driver finished on the podium in the final round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Franciacorta, becoming OKN-J Vice-Champion.
The final weekend of the ACI Karting season was exciting from start to finish. It was a journey that saw the Ukrainian driver always focused on doing his best with the title in his sights.
Friday’s qualifying session, although not easy, saw Alex finish P10 in his group with the chance to fight for the top positions during the heats.
In the head-to-head battles, Legenkyi demonstrated his competitiveness after a less than perfect first heat, with two more solid heats that saw him recover well and finish in the top ten.
He finished fourth in Sunday morning’s Pre-Final, recovering another five positions and demonstrating good race pace.
The OKN-J final was, as usual, hard-fought and of a high standard, where Alex managed everything intelligently and without mistakes. A good comeback was enhanced by penalties for the drivers ahead of him, which ultimately allowed him to finish in P3, improving by eleven positions and taking second place in the overall standings of the 2025 Italian OKN-J Championship.
