The BK Corse staff and the Trofeo Aprilia RS660 land on the Superbike World Championship schedule for the second round of the season at Misano.

It will be an exciting weekend for BK Corse and the Aprilia RS660 Trophy, for the first time in the same paddock of the top series-derived championship. An achievement born of the great work between BK Corse and Aprilia Racing over the past two years that will, in fact, reward the category with the great visibility of the SBK universe and the riders, ready to take to the track in front of a large audience at the “Pirelli Emilia-Romagna Round”.

An event that has been awaited since last season when many of this year’s novelties had not yet been unveiled. The same novelties that animated the first round on the calendar at the Mugello circuit in the weeks leading up to it, despite the adverse weather for the entire duration of the italian weekend.

A race as usual uncertain to the end and with many key moments and the first five-way fight for the final victory with as many as four different teams involved. All elements that contributed to increasing the popularity of the series among the insiders, protagonists, and new supporters of the Trofeo Aprilia RS660.

The championship will restart with the victory of Lorenzo Sommariva, the new overall leader, and the Italian’s desire to confirm and progress further in what, together with his team, Revo Nuova M2, wants to be the season of truth. Edoardo Colombi (Gradara Corse) will also be aiming for the maximum after his comeback from last place, returning to a paddock familiar to him given his World Supersport history. All eyes will also be on Pablo Echeverry (GP11), already on the podium at Misano in previous seasons and third at Mugello, with Giuseppe De Gruttola – Terra e Moto Team – (first poleman of the year), Filippo Bianchi (Revo Nuova M2) among the best rookies, and all the other protagonists of an Aprilia Trophy more competitive than ever.

The programme will see the Trofeo Aprilia RS660 protagonists on track from Friday 2 June at 12.25pm for FP1 and at 5pm for FP2. Saturday will be the turn of the single qualifying session at 17.00. Grand finale scheduled for Sunday 4 June at 16.00 with the start of the race.
