The weekend just gone at Cremona proved competitive for Ukrainian driver Oleksandr Legenkyi.

Cremona was the third race of the season and the second of the WSK Super Master Series 2024. In the 60 Mini Gr.3 category, the fight was very close and Legenkyi was a protagonist right to the end.

A lot of rain that Alex had to cope with since the qualifying session where, with great maturity, he managed to put together an excellent fast lap qualifying with the first best laptime in 1.09.312 in his qualification group. Qualifying time then became second overall also due to changing track conditions A lap of great importance and above all useful for starting the heats always in front.

Three heats all on a wet track between Friday and Saturday allowed the Team Driver Racing driver to put together experience and a great fight scoring a P4 and a P6 and finally a P11 in perhaps the most complicated heat but still in a great fight.

In Sunday’s pre-final, Oleksandr showed his skills by being able to regain a good competitiveness and above all climb up positions by finishing in fourth place and thus winning the fourth starting position for the final of the 60 Mini Gr.3.
The final unfortunately did not go as Oleksandr would have hoped due to a forced retirement after the first part of the race where he was fighting for podium positions.

Great competitiveness, therefore, for the Ukrainian driver who once again proved that he can be among the protagonists of the category. Oleksandr thanks his team, his mechanic, and all the people who support him! In a few days he will be back on track at Franciacorta for the third round of the WSK Super Master Series.
