Last act in Cremona for the WSK Super Master Series 2023, a crucial stage for Cristian Bertuca, leader of the KZ2 standing.
The Birel Art driver reached the last round of a ride as absolute protagonist in the queen class with a victory at Lonato, a second place at Franciacorta and a third place at Sarno last month. These results were useful to carve out a good margin in the overall standings consisting of 241 points, ninety-three points more than the first of the rivals.
A margin to defend and to increase, especially on a particular and difficult circuit like Cremona where, last year, the “Cannibal” took his first European podium in KZ2 after a practically perfect weekend.
In the wake of those sensations and above all of a great first part of the season, Cristian will do everything he can to get a good feeling right from the first timed session and then fight for the final valid for the title of Champion.
Official qualifying will start as usual tomorrow morning before heat one. On Saturday the remaining two heats before the grand finale of the season on Sunday 30th April with Pre-final at 12.10pm and KZ2 Final at 3.25pm, both visible in streaming on wskarting.com.
