Luca Bosco is ready to take to the track in the second weekend of the European Series GT4 at Paul Ricard.

A track with many values for Luca Bosco and an appointment that can be defined as a home weekend for the Selleslagh Racing Team driver. On the well-known French track Luca has not only collected his first results in karting, dreaming of the autodrome, but he has also made his debut on his Mercedes AMG GT4.

Just a few months ago, in fact, Bosco had approached the category with the very first official test session, a debut that immediately brought him to the top of the timesheets. Returning as a regular driver in an official weekend is certainly a great achievement for him, driven by the desire to improve even more his feeling.

Since his debut at Monza, the Italian-French driver has realised that he can be competitive in a category that is so different but just as demanding compared to his usual habits. A good progression for him and for the whole team that, also thanks to the feeling with his teammate, has allowed him to finish in the top positions of the Pro-Am category.

The 5.822 km of Paul Ricard will engage Luca starting tomorrow with the first two free practice sessions (10.50 am and 6.20 pm), then moving on to Saturday’s qualifying session (11.55 am). Sunday 30 May will be the turn of the double race at 09.50 (Race 1) and 15.35 (Race 2).

Luca Bosco: «I am very excited to be back in the car. Paul Ricard was the track where I got my first win in Mini kart at the age of 8 with Team Monaco (Clivio Piccione).  I remember that between sessions I always went to watch the cars on the track, they were a dream for me. Ten years later I’m back here, this time at the wheel of a Mercedes AMG for the European Series GT4… I’d say it’s a great emotion. In order to prepare as well as possible for this commitment I have worked a lot both on the simulator and in the test sessions, I feel very comfortable on this track. Hopefully the results will live up to our expectations and the times we got in testing. Compared to Monza I want to improve absolutely everything! In the first race of the season I was put “in the wolf’s den” and I discovered everything by racing and with the passing of the sessions (tyre management, driver change, radio communication with the team). It’s a completely different world from karting but, as usual, I want to aim to do my best!»

We remind you that the qualifying and race sessions will also be visible on the GT4 European Series Facebook page.
