Oleksandr Legenkyi concluded the first of two consecutive weekends at Viterbo in the WSK Euro Series in a positive way.
The Team Driver boy did his best to maximise the WSK Euro Series weekend in Viterbo, a good occasion also in view of the next round in the Italian ACI Karting Championship. After free practice, Alex scored a positive and very hard-fought qualifying session in fifth place, just +0.071sec from pole position.
In the heats, the Ukrainian driver was solid in his performance, always remaining in the top half of the classification with a third, fourth and fifth place in the three heats available, results that were useful to reach the third starting position in Sunday morning’s Pre-final, which then became third at the end of a great race where Alex was also in first position for a long time.
In the OKN-J Final, Legenkyi again showed his speed by battling for podium positions for a long time. Sixth place under the chequered flag.
On the strength of these good results, Oleksandr Legenkyi will be back on track in Viterbo this week for the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, where he is currently in first position overall.
