After Campillos, Remigiusz Samczyk will be in Portimao for the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship 2025.
Over the weekend just ended, the Polish driver of the Fusion team gathered useful and positive data and impressions in the Champions Of The Future competition in preparation for the European Championship. It was a weekend of great progression for Remek both in qualifying and especially during the heats where he always finished in the top ten and with a fourth and second place. This result was also replicated in Sunday’s Super Heat, which ended in P3 with seven positions recovered. Also in the final, Samczyk showed great speed by staying in the fight for the podium throughout the race until a contact caused by an opponent forced him to retire.
A good weekend overall that bodes well for the start of the second round of the European Championship this week, obviously at Portimao. Official start on Friday with qualifying and the first heats, followed by the heats on Saturday. Sunday 4 May will be the final day with the Super Heats and the OKJ Final at 03.10pm.
