The Valencia round meant the official debut for Remigiusz Samczyk in the FIA European Karting OKJ Championship.

The start of the Polish driver’s European adventure was exciting and challenging, just as expected. The great preparation of the previous months and the first high-level races in the OKJ category meant that Remek was even more ready and clearly improved.

Official qualifying was the first highlight of the weekend in Valencia. All the work carried out together with the team resulted in the AKM Motorsport driver again achieving a good qualifying by placing seventh in his session and fifth in Group A. A very good result that allowed Samczyk to start at the top of the grid.

The heats were not easy with many battles in the middle of the group and a few too many penalties (front spoiler) that did not smile on the Polish driver. In the second and last heats on Saturday, however, Samczyk gave very important signals by managing to obtain a sixth place in a comeback and a ninth place while maintaining his position. Placings from which to build for the future.

Sunday’s pre-final saw Remek put up a great fight but this did not allow direct qualification for the OKJ final in Valencia. An episode that in any case does not cancel out a good start to the European adventure with many positive signs and the desire to improve further.

Remigiusz thanks AKM Motorsport, IAME, the whole team, his mechanic, Natalia, the sponsors and his family.
