Francesco Pizzi confirms his leadership in the F4UAE championship at the Dubai Autodrome: the fourth round of the series ends with a double win.

The championship win is getting closer and closer for the 15 years old driver from Frascati, Rome. Francesco starts the round with fastest chrono in qualifying, but a jump start in Race 1 costs him a 5-second penalty that pushes him back to fourth after the finish line. The mistake doesn’t affect the Roman driver who takes two wins in Race 2 and Race 3 and pulls away in the championship standings. Race 4 is another bitter race, where Xcel Motorsport’s ace takes home the sixth position overall.

“The Dubai Autodrome is one of my favourite tracks and I feel so good here! I’m sorry for the mistake in Race 1, but two wins out of four races is enough to say that it has been another good round. We’ll come back here for the fifth and last round of the season next month and I’m really looking forward another positive round to win the championship. I’d like to thank my sponsors, my team and my family for the support. A special mention goes to my sister who turned 18 years old during this weekend: it was a shame not being at home, but the second win was my birthday present for her!”

Here are the results of the event.

Francesco will return in Dubai for the last round of the series from March 5th to 7th.
